RÜSCHELIT
RÜSCHELIT is the registered trade name of the PVC material used by RÜSCH in the medical sector. The surface textures range from glossy to velvet-like. Depending on the intended use, the material can be produced as a harder or softer version, and either in opaque colours or crystal clear. This gives RÜSCHELIT instruments the correct rigidity, stability and buckling resistance for the individual application concerned. RÜSCHELIT materials, as well as ERU and ERUPLAST materials, are tested pursuant to USPXXIII, Class VI and ISO 10993 / EN 30993. They are non-toxic.

Depending on the intended use, certain substances can be added to RÜSCHELIT during the production process to rend it radiopaque. The properties of RÜSCHELIT make it suitable for the production of extremely flexible instruments, e.g. with embedded stainless steel spiral. The heat resulting from contact with the body makes the material more supple, so that it adapts to the individual anatomical circumstances particularly well.
