Care Instructions
In the world of medicine, safety depends to a great extent on
the expert and correct care of the medical instruments. All
instructions for disinfection,
cleaning, sterilisation,
storage and disposal
are given to the best of our knowledge and belief, but do not
constitute grounds for liability on our part.
Unless they come in sterile wrapping, all new instruments should
be washed before sterilising. Used instruments have to be cleaned,
even after disinfection.
Please note our special instructions for cleaning the tracheostomy tube sets.
If reusable instruments are supplied with instructions for use,
please follow those directions.
Instruments which show obvious discoloration, hairline cracks,
a sticky surface, hardening or other changes after frequent
use are no longer fit for use and should be discarded in the
interests of safety.
As RÜSCH supplies sterile instruments which have been sterilised
using various methods (either gamma sterilisation or sterilised
with ethylene oxide gas), the label indicates which sterilisation
method was used for the instrument concerned.
Disposable instruments are indicated as such by the words "USE
ONCE" on the label.
Please note: We can accept liability for the sterility of instruments
supplied in sterile wrapping only if the packaging has not been
opened or damaged. |
